Soccer In Schools
The Rising Point is proud of, and committed to, the work that we do in schools to promote healthy living and to nurture young minds through participation in soccer. Our Soccer In Schools program is a collaboration with Rising Star Elementary School in Seattle, where we use the gym space to conduct futsal sessions for passionate students who show a commitment to learning from a really fun game!
Futsal is a faster paced version of soccer that is played on a hard court using a smaller and heavier ball than the outdoor game. During these sessions, athletes are challenged to make decisions at speed in a fun and competitive environment that is highly conducive to nurturing awareness, intentionality, and responsiveness (AIR).
